Privacy policy

We collect the bare minimum needed for the trial and licences to work. We never see your lists, your provider credentials or what you watch.

1. Data controller

2. The data we collect

• Your device: a technical identifier (Android ID), model, manufacturer, Android version, app version and app language.
• Usage: the date of each app start, to manage the trial, licences and updates.
• Service messages: if we send you a message in the app (new version, maintenance…), the date it was displayed and then closed.
• Error reports: the type of error, its code, the technical state of the player (decoder, format, buffer) and the error messages shown on screen. Login details contained in addresses are masked before sending. You can turn this off in the app settings.
• Your e-mail, if you buy a licence: for the receipt, support and adding your other devices.
• Payment: handled directly by our payment provider (or by Google Play). We only receive the confirmation and the amount, never your bank details.

What we do not collect: your M3U or Xtream lists, your provider usernames and passwords, the channels, movies or series you watch, your location.

3. Why

• To run the free trial and licences (performance of the contract).
• To fix bugs and improve the app using error reports (legitimate interest).
• To answer you and inform you of important changes, such as the end of the service.

No advertising, no sale of data, no profiling.

4. How long

• Error reports: deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Device and start-up data: for as long as the device uses TvZapeo, then deleted no later than 3 years after its last connection.
• Purchase data: for the period required by accounting obligations (7 years in Belgium).

5. Who has access

Only the SoWeDo team and our technical processors: our host Infomaniak (servers in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Union as providing adequate protection), our payment provider and, for the Play Store version, Google.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction, deletion or portability, and object to certain processing, by writing to android@sowedo.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

7. Cookies

This site uses only one cookie, to remember your language. No advertising or analytics cookies.

8. Changes

If this policy changes significantly, we will say so on this page and in the app.
